Carol is presently a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW – www.ocswssw.org). Sessions may be covered by some extended health insurance plans. Please check with your Benefits Package if sessions are covered for therapists with a Masters in Social Work.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a psychological, needle-free version of acupressure that is based on new discoveries regarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions, and your health.
E.F.T. is a very flexible improvement tool that can be used for just about anything. The sessions provided are my own version of E.F.T. and extraordinary results have been experienced. E.F.T. has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will.
In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupressure wherein we stimulate certain meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips while focusing on a negative emotion such as fear, anxiety or frustration. The relief from the negative emotion is felt after about a one-minute round of tapping and continuous rounds can install new positive feelings instead. This addresses a new cause for emotional issues (unbalanced energy meridians).
Properly done, this frequently reduces the therapeutic process from months or years down to hours or minutes. And, since emotional stress can contribute to pain, disease and physical ailments, we often find that EFT provides physical relief as well.
E.F.T. can be used for emotional issues including anger, forgiveness, fear, phobias, anxiety, depression and trauma. Other uses include pain, chronic diseases, physical issues, weight loss and addictions. You can make enormous strides with E.F.T. into your emotional therapy process. Instead of taking months or years using conventional “talk therapy,” E.F.T. often does the job for you cleanly and thoroughly in just a few sessions!
